Recycle/Purchase

Environmental Responsibility
Recomp Recyclers is committed to the “zero waste” policy espoused by
California’s Integrated Waste Management Board. Our policy includes reducing
waste, promoting use of materials to their most responsible use and protecting the
health and safety of the public and the environment. Here are a few of the ways
our state-certified recycling firm demonstrates our commitment. (Regulations)
Hardware Disposal
When your equipment arrives at our 12,000 square foot facility, it is
inventoried and begins its initial analysis, disassembly and recycling process.
Trained Recomp technicians handle every step of the disposal process
professionally and responsibly, identifying components that are reusable and
properly destroying those that are not. Our state-certified firm follows
governmental regulations and our own commitment to environmental stewardship. (Regulations)
Equipment Exchange
You can arrange for the formal exchange of your hardware for newer hardware, as
we offer an extensive inventory of electronic equipment, peripherals and
components.
Disposal
The hazardous material contained in monitors, computers and other electronic
equipment demands that state- and federal-directed regulations be followed in
destroying the hardware. You can be confident that Recomp will properly dispose of
your equipment. (Regulations)
Data Erasure
Several levels of data destruction and degaussing are applied in the process of
destroying data contained on hard drives. Please see our
Data Erasure section. (Regulations)
